Schönbrunn Palace
(UNESCO World Heritage Site) Our most famous neighbour is Shönbrunn Palace. The closest Palace entrance is a pleasant 10 minute walk from the Residence. Set in a 200 hectares/500 acre park the grounds offer endless possibilities for rest and recreation.
A complex of 1,441 rooms, a selection of which have been fully restored and open to the public. The summer residence of the Habsburgs since the mid 1700s, sometimes called Sissi's Palace, Schönbrunn is a window into Vienna's Imperial past.
