Restaurants
There are many excellent restaurants nearby. Plachutta is world famous for high end Austrian cuisine. MARIO Pasta-Grill-Bar offers modern Italian in a sophisticated atmosphere. Brandauers Schlossbräu is a family friendly beer hall serving Austrian dishes including huge portions of roasted ribs. Wambacher is another good quality, family friendly, traditional Viennese restaurant.

Cafes, Bakeries and Bars
There are many to choose from! Hietzing is home to the Dommayer, a charming old world cafe serving delicious cakes, pastries and a selection of savory dishes. There is a very pleasant garden section open as soon as the weather permits. Waldemar-Tagesbar represents modern Vienna, with a delicious breakfast and lunch selection. There are many bakeries with lots of breads and pastries to choose from, Der Mann, Felbers, and Ströck, to name but a few.
